Felicia van der Does ~ Being

During 2013, after having done the occasional yoga lesson at various studio’s, I joined the introduction course to yoga at saktiisha Spaansche Hof. I immediately felt at home at the studio. After that course I became a regular at saktiisha.

Not long after that period I made a career change and started culinary school to train as a vegan chef. End of 2014 I gave up my steady job and set up my own company, BeingFelicia, offering vegan catering. However I noticed that, because of a couple of physical limitations, full time cooking was not for me. So when Savitri needed an new office manager mid 2016, I jumped at the opportunity, knowing that working together with Savitri would be very inspirational and being able to work for and in saktiisha would suit me very well. Not only do I get to build on my past work experience as communications officer and coordinator, I also have been given the opportunity to set up a food service at the Spaansche Hof studio: the FoodFridge in which healthy snacks can be found. The aim is to expand that service in the future in collaboration with saktiisha.

The last part of 2016 I became studio manager at saktiisha and I was delighted when Savitri asked me to become partner as of January 2017. I look forward to building up saktiisha further with Saviri and the other partners and creating a studio where our yogi’s feel like it is a place to come home to. LEES MEER
