During my study Sociology of the Arts I participated in a minor, called ‘Finding your source’ in which I practiced yoga for the first time, amongst other things such as meditation and Tai Chi.
After this experience I started to explore different types of yoga, which figuratively speaking opened my eyes. In January 2013 I took the step of following an intense Teacher Training Course in India, after travelling through South East Asia for several months.
The TTC was based on the teachings of Swami Sivananda and Swami
Vishnudevananda, summarizing the yoga philosophy in 5 principles, which I’ll be happy to elaborate on when I welcome you in my class.
The emphasis on relaxation, breathing and meditation combined with 12 basic postures will give you a very complete yoga practice!
